Step up for Down syndrome Walk

Ds Connections NW hosted the 3rd annual Step UP for Down Syndrome Walk (formerly the Buddy Walk) This year's walk was another wonderful success with close to 500 people participating and volunteering at the walk. Over $13,000 was raised to support advocacy and education for people with Down syndrome and their families both locally and on a national level. We already have our sights set on planning for the 2012 Step UP Walk!

We're all about connecting and having fun in the process! One of our main goals is to create a monthly social where family and friends of people with a Down syndrome diagnosis can connect. Each month we exchange information on professional resources, share real life experiences, and simply connect Ds families and friends to each other. If you have something to contribute, something to learn, or just want to have fun, please join us. We welcome all positive participation and input.
